Celtic Crescent Altar Box

The Waning Crescent, the phase of the moon representing the Crone in all aspects of the triple moon. The word “crescent’ comes from the Latin term ceres meaning “bring forth” also to create and grow. With that in mind this altar box “brings forth” the energy of the Crone, embodying wisdom, stillness and also sacredness. Encased within this crescent is intricate Celtic knotting, representing interconnection and mysticism.
