Oakwood Mjölnir

Mighty Mjölnir with powers so strong though centuries old brings more than blessings to those who choose to hold this Amulet of the Old. A powerful piece of protection, Mjölnir also represents the power to create order from chaos along with the faith and connection to the Gods of the Old Norse. Wearing Mjölnir expands the knowledge of oneself, first by illuminating internally where lack of control resides. I recall years ago reading stories of Thor being compared to a “Bull in a china shop” for me this expression holds deep significance to Mjölnir and consciously knowing the effect you have on your surroundings; helping eliminate consequences that may arise from uncontrolled power.

Personally, it is an everyday item for me as those who wear a cross in representation of their faith. As my connection with the Gods have deepened over the years, lately this level of connection has led me to the forging of Mjölnir; and a true understanding of discipline and mastery of self for sure. I was intuitively pulled(Divinely Guided) to handcraft these pieces by carving them out of Oakwood, a beautiful strong wood known magickally for strength, courage and protection among other qualities.
After carving, I mixed an organic tea stain for color and added my favorite citrus/beeswax sealant to the wood. Amulet dimensions- 1in high/ 1in across
